This Week

• This week we went looking for duckies in the pond.  The boys were calling for them and I don't know how those ducks didn't hear them... "Duuuukieeees!"

• This week the boys got to hang out with one of their favourite friends, Chloe.

• This week we took a walk down Cougar Creek and Liam insisted on taking the leash.

• This week (after our walk down cougar creek) we went out for breakfast to our favourite breakfast place, the Summit Cafe. Just me and the boys.  It was so much fun (but no picture to prove it).

• This week the boys got some "babies".  They love them so much they even had to bring them along to the park.

Ontario Trip

So many photos, so little time.  I have just finally sorted through all my pictures of our trip to Ontario from the beginning of the month...it took me almost as long to unpack. It was a wonderful gathering of family and as per usual it went by too fast.  

Here is a mere glimpse of the fun we had...

The Twins Turn Two

My baby boys are growing up so fast!  They turned two years old last weekend.  We had a nice little  gathering of friends at the park to celebrate.  There were bubbles, blanket tossing, trucks and double the cake! (There was also the odd melt down too, but we won't go there!)

A Day for Daddy

Our day to celebrate Dad was just perfect.  We had no set plans we just went with the flow of the day which is just how Rob likes it.  First we went out for breakfast at our favourite cafe (and luckily beat the sunday father's day rush). Then went for a nice little hike.  After that the boys fell asleep on the car ride home, so we decided not to move them and just take a drive out to Banff where we hung out for a bit down by the river, then made our way to the Brew Pub (it's not Father's Day without beer!).   And what better way to top off a day like that then to take a dip in the hot springs.

Our Last Cheap Flight

We're squeezing one more flight in before the boys turn two and we have to start paying for four seats instead of two.  (Yikes!)  We're off to Ontario to visit family...it's no Mexico vacation, but it'll do.  Just kidding, we're super excited and can't wait to see everyone.  It's been almost a year now since I've seen my side of the family (minus my parents who came to visit this winter).  Rob's Dad and his wife will also be traveling from Illinois to meet us in Ontario.  

We'll have lots of partying to do while we're there.  June is birthday month.  We'll be celebrating Rob's birthday, my birthday (the big 3-0!), my grandmother's birthday and of course my Gemini twins are turning two on the 16th of June!  It'll be a real birthday extravaganza!

But on a side note....I wanted to share this really great blog (click here) that has some nice healthy recipes.  I just made the "Ultimate All Inclusive Breakfast Muffin" and the "Banana Pecan Granola Bars" to take along on the plane.  They're toddler and mom approved!
