Hope all you Mama's out there had a wonderful Mother's Day...god knows we deserve a day to be celebrated!!

Fernie Road Trip

Last weekend we celebrated May long a few weeks early and took a little road trip to Fernie to visit Rob's cousin's family.  The trip down was a little rough due to a couple of unhappy boys but it's always worth the drive to hang out with the Millar/Malcolms.

Saturday we made the most of a rainy day and went up to the Fernie campground for a  short hike, a camp fire and a little adventure.

The Little Adventure:

The adventure part was Liam's boot falling into the fast moving river and Dan attempting to rescue it...the river won in the end and we were left with one left boot.  On a side note, we also lost a shoe on that trip (also a righty) but no story to go with it, just lost for good.

The next day was beautiful.  Dan got his super cool mo-ped out for a ride but couldn't get it going.  I was still impressed and took the oportunity to photograph it.

We went for a nice walk to the park before it was time to head back home.
