Hayden

Rob and I got a night out at the Banff Centre to see Hayden and Dan Mangan preform at the Eric Harvey Theatre.  Such a great show, especially by Hayden.  Can't wait for his new album to come out.

Then tonight I was giving the boys a bath and I was wearing my new shirt from the concert that has Hayden written on it and Liam asked me if I was going to marry Hayden.  I had to laugh. First I said no, I love daddy and I'm married to daddy then I asked him why he thought I would marry Hayden and said because I had a picture taken with him and I was wearing a shirt that says I love Hayden...but the shirt actually only says Hayden.  I got a good chuckle but reassured the boys I was only married to daddy.  :)

Grotto Canyon

It was a beautiful spring-like day today and although it was like pulling teeth to get these boys out the door, we finally did and it was worth it!  I took them up Grotto Canyon to explore some new ground.  They've been there before but not for quite some time so it was all fresh and exciting for them.

They had so much fun hopping and jumping from rock to rock and pretending to be superheroes.  We even came up with a new superhero called "Mountain Man". And the song to the tune of spider man goes a little something like this: "mountain man, mountain man. Does whatever a mountain can.  He can climb and he can hike, he can scramble anything. Whatch out, here comes the mountain man!"  I may need to tweak it a bit but that's the first draft...😉. And Liam still prefers to be Spider-Man.

Happy Hiking!

Hand Print Mountain Craft

I was inspired to blog today after making this super cute craft with casey this afternoon....it's been a while since I've posted anything but maybe this will be my way of getting back into it again!

I recently painted the boys room and today I added a little finishing touch by creating a special wall to hang their artwork...

I've had these old frames sitting in the closet since I picked them up at a garage sale last summer.  They just needed to be painted and a string added to hang the art!  The letters I bought from micheals and mod podged on some scrapbook paper.

Happy crafting!
