One on One

The other day while Liam and Daddy were having a little snooze, Casey and I decided to go have some fun at the park.  After all, it was such a nice day and we just weren't tired (or at least Casey wasn't). 

I do charish spending those rare one-on-one times with the boys.

The Party

Busy times these days with a wedding coming up in a couple weeks, but I have finally found a chance to share with you some special moments from the boys birthday party last week...

It was a really fun BBQ with lots of good friends to celebrate our little guys turning one.  

Happy Father's Day!

It's Rob's second Father's Day.  The boys came just in time last year...however, we couldn't give him a proper celebration since we were still in the hospital.  But still, what better gift on Father's day than to be able to hold your two new born baby boys?

This year we celebrated by packing up a picnic lunch and biking to a beautiful spot half way between Canmore and Banff. 

It was quite the journey (about 30 k's round trip).  I was thankful that Rob was carrying the extra weight instead of me...I wouldn't have made it.

Thankfully the way back to Canmore was all down hill, so we got to take it easy and enjoy the ride.  The Canmore Artspeak Festival is going on this weekend, so we stopped for a break to check out the music and festivities before making our way home.

Happy Father's Day to the most amazing Father of twins!  I couldn't do it without you!

And Happy Father's Day to my Dad!  Looking forward to seeing you in a couple weeks!

Happy Birthday Casey & Liam!

My babies were born on this night last year.  Casey was a mere 4 and half pounds and Liam just under 5.  It was love at first (and second) sight.  I've never really thought about a birthday before as I have this one.  It was always just about having a party and eating cake... until today, looking back on my experience of the birth of my babies.  For me today is about so much more.  It's the day I became a Mother and brought these two beautiful boys into this world.  It's the best day ever.

Summer Quilt

I have completed my little summer quilt that I started about a month ago...actually, I've been holding out on ya, I finished it a couple weeks ago, but didn't get a chance to do a proper photo shoot until now.  So without further ado, here it is...

Casey slept through the photo shoot, so Liam was my model...

I really like it and it's the perfect size to take along to the beach or the park.  I'm sure we'll get lots of use out of it this summer.
